Hilliard was formally the receivers coach for the Washington Redskins in 2012, and then again from 2014-2019, the Buffalo Bills in 2013, and the Miami Dolphins in 2011. He's had the opportunity to coach the likes of receivers such as Pierre Garçon, DeSean Jackson, and most recently, Terry McLaurin.
Hilliard was originally drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft (7th overall), and also played four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before starting his coaching career with the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League. Hilliard will look to improve on a young receiving core in Pittsburgh as the Steelers will look to make another Super Bowl push in 2020.
More to come.
