Former Pittsburgh Steelers phenom Antonio Brown's interactions with his last quarterback Tom Brady, make the average person's "nightmare co-worker" story feel like a Harlequin Romance novel. By all accounts, Brady has done nothing but try to help Brown since bringing him on board with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and Brown has done nothing but make him regret it.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady yells in frustration at his offensive line during Week 6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brady was primarily responsible for Brown getting an opportunity in Tampa (and New England, albeit just for one game). Pittsburgh fans were already frustrated by the way Brown left the city that had loved him, and going to play with the "enemy" didn't help things.
Burning bridges has become Brown's specialty, but for whatever reason, Brady stuck by his side and supported him. They were able to win a Super Bowl together. But he wasn't satisfied. Brown seemed to repay him by stabbing him in the back.
Reportedly, Brown was playing with an injured foot he claims now that he told the staff, coaches, Brady, etc., and was told he would have to play anyhow. He decided he wasn't going to stand for this and stripped off his jersey and pads in the middle of a game against the New York Jets and ran up and down the sidelines before exiting the field.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. While Brady was going through an extremely stressful and public divorce, Brown bullied him on social media. He used edited photos of Brady's wife, Gisele Bündchen to make her appear naked or even in bed with him. He posted things saying how bad of a teammate Brady was despite all the support he gave him.
Now Brown is once again choosing to lash out at Brady. However, this time Brown says he has proof of how badly Brady treated him.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers Receiver Antonio Brown Spills The Tea On Tom Brady
Brown, who is never afraid to say what is on his mind, took some time away from his National Arena League drama to appear on Tyreek Hill's podcast, It Needed To Be Said. Earlier this year, Brown purchased the majority stake in the Albany Empire, but he recently found out that his team was kicked out of the league for not paying their dues.
During the interview with Hill, Brown recounts how Brady required Brown to use his personal trainer to deal with the injury he had. However, he claims that the trainer didn't read the MRI and thus did not know that Brown actually had a ligament tear. When Brown expressed, he said that Brady called him a "narcissist."
"So now I meet with Tom Brady, he like giving me talks, he thinks I'm like a narcissist. I'm like, 'What bro?' I really been over here like low volume, I'm really supposed to be turned up, like I'm ready to go, I'm the head, I'm not the tail, I'm here to get these guys inspired. I'm already coming off the bench playing while I am here, I'm the spark."

In addition, Brady did not throw to Brown the way he said he would when he asked him to join him on the team. He said he was concerned he would make his injury worse, but also wanted to do all he could to help the team.
"[Brady] doesn't wanna throw me the ball, and you make me like I'm crazy. So I'm crazy? F*** all you mutherf******, I'm out of here!"
Instead of arguing back or even defending himself, Brady chose to remain silent. Brown didn't stop there, he also released text messages that he received from Brady. Brown says they are proof of how terribly Brady treated him, however, they read like a concerned friend.
"You are demonstrating very poor decisions and poor communication to so many people who have gone above and beyond to help you. You are acting selfish and unfortunately, many of those people are exhausted by the erratic and unpredictable emotional behavior."

Antonio Brown sits down with Julius Collins and Tyreek Hill to discuss his relationship with Tom Brady.
Brady goes on to express concern that Brown had gone from wanting to improve his life and his gameplay, to not caring. He also suggested that Brown has changed the caliber of friends that he surrounds himself with to people who do not have his best interests at heart.
"We can do anything. And will always rise above our doubters and naysayers because we always have. It's not right, but we show a lot of people light and inspiration if we deal with whatever comes GRACEFULLY. They will all remember your grace under pressure and how you deal on the field is how you do it off field. With incredible precision and planning and discipline. And I'm going to help you in any way I can."

These texts apparently weren't good enough for Brown who continues to say that a major part of why he left Tampa is because of Brady. He claims Brady "skinned" him for money for that trainer who was not doing anything to help Brown. Brown says that when he offers to do stuff for "his guys," he covers the cost of it, rather than expecting them to pay, but he felt like Brady was taking advantage of him.
"You know you don't charge your guys, that's your guys. Because we want you to be your best. You being your best helps me. So these guys are actually charging me to work with me, and it's like the team actually paid this guy to like work with the players. I'm paying him on top of the payments and he's not even going out of his way."
Brady has not made any further comments regarding Brown and his remarks on Hill's podcast. It is probably for the best, it doesn't seem possible to appease Brown anyhow.
